Ninjas, Matchboxes and Prints.

It has been quite a long time since I last posted. I've been working constantly though, sewing and sewing...and drawing. I've worked on amazing custom orders and have made tons of new designs! I won't bombard this post with all of them, but here are some things I've recently been doing. :)

I Love You Ninja Plushies

Adventure Time Matchboxes for a wonderful swap!

I've also been working on something I'm very excited about! Adding prints to my Etsy shop! I have a couple all finished, and more that I will be done drawing late this week. They should be ready to list within a couple weeks. <3 Here is one of them. :)

I am going to try like crazy to get back into the swing of blogging. I really do miss it! Hope everyone has been doing well! <3

Kawaii Panda and Bunny Plush

I feel so bad for not being active on my blog lately! I haven't forgotten about it, it has been just a matter of finding the time to make a post.

I have been incredibly busy though making new things, and mostly focusing on monster plushies. This week I've been hand-stitching a bunch of new little kawaii plush though! I love creating these. They are so fun to dream up and the result is a super tiny plush that you can hold in the palm of your hand.

Here are a couple of my newest with many more color variations and new animals on the way! :)

I look forward to getting back into the swing of things and updating frequently again!

Amigurumi Witch

Here she is! :) She stands over 8 inches tall (without her hat). I really missed making dolls. When this one was requested I highly looked forward to it, especially since I've never made a witch before! She is made of soft acrylic with cotton yarn for her skin tone. I hand-painted her eyes a pale shade of green. :)

Max Amigurumi

Max has been a work in progress since early March! I made him for my daughter, who is absolutely in love with him from the book Where The Wild Things Are. This is only the second piece of fanart I've made. The first was CJ7, which was for her too. :)

He stands approximately 9 1/2 inches tall by 4 1/2 inches wide from arm to arm. I made him out of various types of yarn, cotton for his skin tone, wool for his outfit, and angel hair which I used for his tail and claws. I brushed out the angel hair yarn for a very long time to give it the fluffy appearance. His hood is removable and has little non-functional ties. I can crochet almost anything in the round, but the hood wouldn't work that way. It took me 6 times (and more hours than I care to mention) to get it right. :D His hair left me with bruised fingertips for days! I wanted to give it a lot of texture to make it look tousled. Besides that, this project was a blast. I gave him little ears, cuffs for his sleeves, and used two creamy buttons for his outfit. I was beyond excited that I finished him today. :)

I gave him to her when she woke up from her nap. She was so happy! The biggest smile across her face, she started getting shaky because she couldn't control how happy she was. Then she ran around the house collecting little things to give him as
"presents". :) We read the book with him, then she wanted to watch the movie with him too. That, is entirely worth a month of work. :)

(She says I need to add whiskers too, so I think I have a little more work to go) :p :)

Here are a few more pictures at different angles:

Mew the Baby Amigurumi Dinosaur

I'm so happy I finished him today! Mew stands about 7 1/2 inches high by 2 3/4 inches at his widest.

Tim gave me the idea to make a dinosaur yesterday. Its certainly nothing I've ever tried before! He was a lot of fun :) I based him off of a quick sketch I drew.

Striped Amigurumi Bunny

I have been working on this little one for a week trying to get him perfect! It has been rough but I'm so happy I finally got him finished. :)

He's 7 1/2 inches tall by 2 3/4 inches at his widest, not counting his long ears. Crocheted in super soft green acrylic and a pretty caribbean blue wool.
